Hanover Bridge

1.2K

Hanover Bridge was constructed by the Morse Bridge Company of Youngstown, Ohio in 1885. The single-span, single-lane bridge carried traffic across the Crow Wing River between Hanover and Hassan Township. It is the oldest truss bridge in Wright County, Minnesota.

When the roadway closed to traffic, it was renovated for use as a pedestrian bridge. The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. You can find the Hanover Bridge just off of River Road NE in Hanover, Minnesota.
